Position Summary
As a Student Dispatcher, you'll be part of our dynamic Dispatch/Student Monitoring and Tracking (SMT) team. Your role will involve coordinating with school districts, parents, and drivers to ensure the smooth and secure transportation of students.
What You'll Do
Be the friendly voice on the other end of the line, handling a high volume of incoming calls from clients and drivers with professionalism and empathy.
Enter customer information into our user-friendly data entry system.
Become the master of logistics by dispatching drivers to client locations.
Put on your problem-solving hat to tackle transportation issues and maintain accurate transaction records.
Be the calming influence when customers are stressed, de-escalating concerns effectively.
Embrace your inner cartographer and read/understand maps and other geographical software.
Communicate seamlessly via telephone, email, and messaging apps with a diverse range of customers, clients, and team members.
Navigating multiple computer systems and applications will be your second nature.
Comfortably handle extended periods of sitting or standing while engaging with your team.
If you're bilingual (Spanish-speaking), we have a special role for you to shine!
Collaborate and assist in various areas to support the team during peak call volumes.
Ensure compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) when accessing/modifying electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI).
What You'll Need
A high school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
The ability to remain composed when customers are stressed or upset.
Comfort with using computers; we'll provide all the training you need.
Experience in customer support is a plus.
Bilingual candidates who are Spanish-speaking are highly encouraged to apply.
