Latin America Marketing Manager
Summary:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns for Acer ROLA (Rest of Latin America) Business Unit, including Consumer and Commercial channels. This position will work with various cross-functional domestic and international teams to deliver compelling and successful campaigns while supporting marketing objectives, business unit sales, and segment marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Latin America Marketing and take input from both Global and Regional Marketing organizations, finance, and product management teams while focusing on the greater Latin America region.
Responsibilities:
- Content approval agent for segment-specific messaging.
- Work with 3rd party technology partners (Intel, Microsoft, AMD, Google, etc.) to develop co-branding initiatives, sales tools, and segment thought leadership marketing pieces for Acer ROLA.
- Prepare reports, including campaigns, recommendations, and post-mortem results of marketing activities.
- Development and implementation of strategic marketing communication plans.
- Provide direction and communication requirements to supporting organizations in the preparation of program and campaign development.
- Work with product management, segment marketing, advertising agency, web teams, marketing operations, and finance to ensure the proper promotion of products.
Requirements / Qualifications / Skills
- The candidate must have a strong ability to think and act strategically, have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (Portuguese a bonus)
- The candidate must have a strong ability to work with internationally based product and marketing teams.
- In-depth understanding of 3rd-party co-marketing funding programs. (e.g., Microsoft and Intel)
- In-depth understanding of marketing activities including all forms of digital communications and traditional marketing tools
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of marketing related to the Consumer and Commercial markets.
- PC industry experiences a plus.
Education
- Minimum 5+ years of marketing experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
