About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the retail marketing strategy for our products across multiple channels. This includes managing promotions, sales events, and in-store sales to drive revenue growth and brand awareness. Internally, the role will be called Sr. Retail Marketing Manager as this role will focus on the growth of our retail business.
You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and wholesale distributors
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of retail marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy for our beauty and personal care products across various channels including retail, online, and wholesale
- Manage sales events and in-store activations to drive foot traffic and conversion
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Develop and manage promotional programs to increase sales and market share
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team to ensure effective implementation of retail marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to ensure alignment on the overall business strategy and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in retail marketing and channel management
- Develop and manage the retail marketing budget
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data to drive insights and decision-making
- Passion for the beauty industry and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of retail, online, and wholesale channels and how to effectively market products in each
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- 5+ years of experience in Retail Marketing, Channel Marketing, or related roles, preferably in the CPG industry
- Experience managing promotions, sales events, and in-store activations
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
