As an integral member of the VillageMD Enterprise Finance team, you will work closely with the Finance Team, VP – Enterprise Finance, the CFO and Operational Leadership to support the Value Based Care (VBC) market finance team in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, market management and leadership reporting, and ad-hoc analysis to support market leadership decision making. Additionally, the Senior Manager will support inorganic and organic market growth and scaling initiatives for supported markets.
The ideal candidate is an analytical self-starter energized by the idea of working in a high-growth, dynamic healthcare organization.
How you can make a difference
- Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for your markets
- Build strong relationships with operational leadership
- Drive monthly development of reporting, analysis, and insights into value-based care financial performance at a contract and market level in support of market operators
- Support translation of operational trends and metrics into financial impact and vice versa, ensuring a clear understanding of how performance metrics relate to financial outcomes
- Prepare periodic executive and board reporting
- Analyze and evaluate proposed strategic investments / operating strategies
- Support a variety of growth driven ad hoc activities (i.e. acquisition diligence, market launch, payor contracting, etc.)
- Lead monthly financial close process for one or more markets (i.e. review proposed accruals, ensure appropriate adjustments etc.) and oversee one or more supporting analysts
- Coordinate with the broader finance and accounting team(s) on existing and new financial policies/processes

Experience to drive change
- Ability to learn quickly, think independently, and develop new processes/analyses
- Demonstrated ability to time manage, multi-task and prioritize
- PowerPoint capabilities with desire to develop executive level presentation skills
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required
- 5+ years of finance, data analysis, accounting, or related experience
- Excel based financial modeling experience required
- BA / BS Required
- Tableau and Alteryx experience preferred
- Knowledge of various financial principles, practices, and applications including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting
- Masters or MBA preferred but not required
