Business Unit Overview:


Blackstone Structured Finance Group (“SFG”) brings together Blackstone Asset Based Finance (“ABF”) Real Estate Debt Strategies (“BREDS”) and Securities. The formation of this combined group will drive further scale in Blackstone’s lending capabilities across a variety of asset backed finance markets, including consumer finance, real estate, transportation, trade receivables, fund finance, and digital infrastructure.

Analyst – Blackstone Structured Finance Group, Asset Based Finance


: ABF is seeking an Analyst with exceptional analytical, technical and communication skills to join the Asset Based Finance Group. The Analyst will play an essential role in creation and maintenance of all marketing materials and investor communications for the Asset Based Finance team. The Analyst will also focus on strategic initiatives across the business, spearheading multiple projects at one time employing a range of skillsets.


Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Helping to lead idea generation, design and launch activities for new investment products and solutions
  • Supporting Fundraising and Senior Leadership
  • Run execution processes for new products and funds working closely with legal/compliance, finance and asset management teams
  • Working collaboratively with business leaders and various teams within SFG to create and maintain presentation materials, investor reporting and other investor communications
  • Marketing Materials and Investor Communications
  • Client Management and Communications
  • Streamlining reporting and incorporating new requests into recurring reports
  • Assist with production of talking points, ad hoc presentations and strategic projects
  • Conduct market research on investor universe and competitive landscape
  • Investor Due Diligence
  • Strategic Initiatives and Product Development
  • Respond to investor queries and due diligence questionnaires
  • Liaising between clients and deal team regarding questions or requests
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and assist with strategic planning for new product and fund launches


Qualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, a successful candidate will have:


  • Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to learn
  • Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • A desire to work in a team environment, often under competing deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 1+ years of professional experience
  • Prior work experience in investor relations or management/strategy consulting is preferred
  • Leadership and strong project management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively
  • Ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed materials and information for existing and prospective investors; strong proficiency in Powerpoint, Word and Excel

$100,000 - $140,000

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
