Investment Analyst - Japan - Value

INVESTMENT ANALYST- JAPAN– VALUE CREATION

As a member of the global investment team you will play a critical role in supporting investment idea generation and due diligence on Japanese companies and engage with company management of target and portfolio companieson corporate strategy, operational, financial management, and corporate governance issues.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in one or more of the following areas; private equity, public equity, investment banking/M&A, management/strategic consulting.

SKILLS:

• Advanced valuation and financial modeling skills.
• Passion for analyzing business models across industries.
• High level of intellectual curiosity with predisposition to conducting granular primary research and deep-dive fundamental analysis, incorporating multiple factors and perspectives into due-diligence process.
• Fluent Japanese & English.Strong presentation skills in both languages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with corporate executives and industry experts and practitioners across multiple industries
• Conduct deep dive company and industry research and fundamental analysis to support due-diligence process for both existing and prospective investment targets.
• Participate in process to assess how companies can un-lock value through change and improvement in corporate strategy, operations, financial management, corporate governance.
