JOB DESCRIPTION


You will focus on management risk, trade structuring, and market making for a variety of bespoke insurance products, including Stable Value wraps, Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) wraps, and related products to a broad range of investors (money managers, banks, insurance companies, pension plans, corporates).

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the senior traders in managing risk, liquidity and exposure and you may support all aspects of the trading desk: pre-trade analysis and research, trade negotiation, contract analysis, model evaluation and construction, and hedging strategy.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to transact with both clients and issuers in the primary and secondary markets.
  • Strong analytical skills, a structuring background or a broad understanding of fixed income products (Agencies, Treasuries, Swaps, Futures, Repo, Corporates, ABS, MBS, and CMBS), mortality risk, and macroeconomic.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Expert Bloomberg, Excel, Power Point and MS Office skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or related quantitative field
  • Strong understanding of Global macro markets and leaders
  • Someone who thrives on the challenge
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks
  • Maturity and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced and open environment
