Sr. Director - Strategic Supplier / Bpo Management

Must-haves

• 5+ years standing up Business Process Outsourcing and/or Managed Services Programs
• Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree
• 10+ years of leadership experience, supporting Directors and Managers through strategic supplier strategy
• 10+ years of experience in the strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement and purchasing spaces

Plusses

• Experience with procurement or processing tools / technologies:
• Sourcing, RFX, and internal programs.
• Specific experience with global managed service providers within the Technology space.

Day-to-Day

A insurance client out of Portland, OR is looking for a Remote Senior Director - Supplier Management who will be standing up and maturing a Business Process Outsourcing program for key managed service providers. You will be responsible for leading a team of four Supplier Relationship Managers with procurement and sourcing initiatives. You will work with senior leaders on their BPO / managed service strategy, and provide direction and insights into best practices. Lastly, you will help mature the supplier management program and provide a risk based approach to growing the program. You will also work with Senior Executive leadership to help grow key lines of business. There will be light travel 1-3 times a year on-site in Portland and to India and/or the Philippines to meet with team members.
