We have partnered with our client in their search for a Director, Supplier Relationship Management

Lead and mentor a team of supplier relationship managers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.

7+ years of experience managing strategic suppliers

Oversee pipeline management and sales forecasting, ensuring accurate reporting and informed decision-making.

Conduct assessments on current supplier/brand relationships, developing maintenance plans, ensuring current offerings & needs are met to the highest standards.

Conduct assessments on potential suppliers, evaluating their product quality, pricing, distribution, capabilities and alignment with business objectives.

At least 10-12 years of sales experience in beverage & distribution industry

Skill in building rapport, effective negotiation, and a passion for delivering superior customer service to nurture and expand business relationships.

Experience of working collaboratively with suppliers & brands to ensure best practise

Manage forward and reverse logistics transportation, regional logistics supplier certification, develop and select regional suppliers, and optimize management.

Experienced in logistics procurement or planning management.

More than 3 years of team management experience.

Establish supplier management system such as supplier sourcing, negotiation, introduction, management and elimination.

Assists the Commodity Managers in resolving invoice issues

Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training

1 year in warehouse or expeditor role or Supply Chain experience

Demonstrates a hands-on, energetic, accountable and hardworking management style.

Customer-focused approach to operations management which supports growth and innovation, and which requires enhanced communication and cooperation.

Some knowledge and experience with lean, operational excellence, continuous improvement.

10 + years of manufacturing engineering and/or project engineering experience

5+ years of experience leading manufacturing and/or engineering teams

Natural leadership skills; “edge” and gravitas; ability to influence and create followership.

Strong experience working with materials suppliers

Experience creating Lines of Balances

Background in manufacturing/working for a manufacturing company

Solving supply chain issues/escalating issues to suppliers

Maintaining notes and information on suppliers, truly understanding where a supplier is and if they are currently in a healthy state

Working with other supply chain individuals to create line of balances

Experience in planning and project management.

Identify and manage Supplier Diversity events and engagements.

Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.

Strong knowledge of supplier diversity, including best practices.

Strong negotiation and consensus building skills.

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

1+ years experience working knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Cost Accounting, Finance or Economics

Understanding of customer requirements, supply management-marketing strategy, and demand generation fulfillment process

Manage national brand product purchasing process

1+ year data analytics experience, using data to tell a story

Experience with suppliers & customers

10+ years of experience in the strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement and purchasing spaces

Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree

10+ years of leadership experience, supporting Directors and Managers through strategic supplier strategy

Specific experience with global managed service providers within the Technology space.

5+ years standing up Business Process Outsourcing and/or Managed Services Programs
