The Ops Manager supports our 3P Reverse Logistics Suppliers and Internal Reverse leadership on execution around all administrative, financial and operational activities related to Reverse Logistics. Serves as the primary operations point of contact for our Reverse Return Centers. The Ops manager must provide exceptional leadership and effective management in all areas of process controls, financial management, operations, risk and compliance, administration and communication.

This role is located onsite at our facility in Coppell, TX. This position leads all efforts in our Reverse Logistics organization and acts as highly independent first-line liaison/owner between T -Mobile and our 3PL to manage the entire Reverse Operations. This role is a high visibility, high demand and high expectation role to the reverse organization and has an extremely high impact on T-Mobile’s ability to effectively service our customers and meet financial targets. It is the responsibility of this role to ensure all product is moving through the processes accurately, at a high velocity and at an appropriate quality level while successfully completing all plans set for our Return Centers.

This position LEADS the operational execution and financial performance management of our Third Party Reverse Logistics Operations. T-Mobile is and will be ALWAYS changing, so this position requires a high level of adaptability and vision to create processes to accommodate change quickly and continuously improve upon the change. This position is vital to the T-Mobile reverse organization with a direct impact on T-Mobile’s ability to effectively service our customers through executional excellence. It is the responsibility of this role to ensure all T-Mobile’s requirements are consistently met by the 3PLs, plans are communicated effectively, executed flawlessly and all issues are addressed timely by the appropriate functional areas, including within T-Mobile.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure SOX compliance, submissions and validation for all required Suppliers
• The Operations Manager must possess solid operational and supply chain knowledge along with financial acumen and serve as a capable steward of the organizations financial resources.
• Establish recovery plans for out of SLA metrics and manage 3PLs to the recovery
• Monitor all aspects of the reverse operations and ensure compliance to T-Mobile daily/monthly/annual targets and work with our internal and external operational teams to achieve or course correct to the targets
• Identify, remove or resolve any obstacles/challenges restricting product movement/velocity.
• Invoice validation with accuracy to process volume and pricing with first level sign off
• Working with our 3PL’s, identify process improvement opportunities and drive the change through collaborative meetings across internal and external teams
• Responsible for ensuring availability and accuracy of necessary metrics to manage the reverse business.
• Work directly with any and all groups, internal and external, responsible for delivering product or services that enable product movement to ensure product flows with minimal touches and cost.
• Serve as department liaison across other functional groups regarding process change, policy change, compliance issues, department-wide communications.
• Manage and achieve performance SLAs for every Reverse process and Contract Compliance for our Reverse Return Centers
• Work closely with Reverse Management to set strategic targets, defining plans and road maps to success
• Must deliver strong performance results for device processing accuracy and financial controls across all reverse activities
• May be required to serve as proxy for the Operations Management leader in key critical business meetings/projects in relation to operational issues, projects, team progress and risk-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 18 years of age
• 10+ years supply chain / planning experience.
• Bachelors degree in related field.
• 10+ years experience in fulfillment, inventory planning and demand planning; telecom experience preferred.
