Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Director to be responsible for the overall In and outbound logistics/supply chain management. Logistics Director responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order delivery cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and train team.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Maintain and reconcile warehouse finished goods inventory levels in collaboration with Production planning and finance.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
• Identify and champion continuous improvement and ensure that corrective actions are implemented for logistics-related deviations or unfavorable performance.
• Leadership over planning team
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Provide visibility of shipment status to key stakeholders
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
• Inventory Planning
• Comply with laws, regulations, and requirements.
• Ensure on-time delivery of international & domestic shipments of all products.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Assemble all necessary documents to support international shipments and ensure compliance with global trade requirements.
• Oversee warehouse activities for in/outbound shipments.

The ideal candidate:

• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Minimum of 5-10 years logistics with consumer goods experience
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Director
• Proficient in standard logistics software.

• Salary Range: $125,000-$160,000 DOE
