GEICO Garage is currently seeking an organized and experienced Executive Assistant who has a proven record of efficiency, task-management, and results orientation to support our Senior Executive. The successful candidate will be professional, discreet, resourceful, responsible, reliable, and exceptionally organized. The position will be hybrid, based out of our Chevy Chase, MD headquarters.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs various administrative tasks such as printing, emailing, drafting letters, presentation deck preparation, proofreading, and creating documents and Excel spreadsheets as assigned
  • Creates, manages, and submits expense reports on behalf of Executive
  • Organizes and prepares meetings, including gathering documents, logistics, tracking action/agenda items, and preparing reports.
  • Answer incoming calls and checks voicemail
  • Assist in the resolution of complex, highly sensitive, and confidential matters as required by a fast-paced, dynamic executive office.
  • Other special projects or tasks as assigned
  • Books and organizes travel for executive including travel planning, developing itineraries, arranging accommodations, and other logistics as required.
  • Tracks email correspondence and projects as directed, follows up with senior staff members as needed.
  • Maintains and prioritizes daily Outlook schedules, contacts, and calendar management, and advises Executive on actions necessary.
  • Coordinates with and greets all outside visitors as needed
  • Responds to correspondence on behalf of leadership when required.


Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years prior direct executive or administrative assistant experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of additional related work experience in lieu of degree
  • Strong writing and editing skills


Skills Required:

  • Demonstrates tact, discretion, and ability to deal in confidence with sensitive proprietary information
  • Extremely organized, with superior prioritization and multi-tasking skills, as well as a strong commitment to timely follow up
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interface and work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders on behalf of Executive
  • Strong initiative and ability to navigate a fast-paced environment
