BigCommerce’s B2B platform, built for manufacturers and distributors is one of the fastest growing channels of success for BigCommerce. To support this growth, BigCommerce is seeking a Senior B2B Channel manager, who, reporting to the General Manager of B2B, will be responsible for educating, enabling, and driving enterprise channel pipeline from; Systems Integrators, Digital Agencies, Technology Partners, and eCommerce consultants focused on enterprise eCommerce. Working closely with Sales and Marketing you’ll manage the B2B enterprise channel pipeline and go-to-market activities that bring new B2B clients to the BigCommerce platform.


What You’ll Do


  • Deliver compelling capabilities demonstrations of the BigCommerce B2B platform and address high-level technical questions, serving as a subject matter expert around how B2B eCommerce platforms fit within overall digital commerce ecosystems.
  • Leading internal B2B enablement sessions. Training sales, agency and technology partner teams on the BigCommerce B2B platform.
  • Represent BigCommerce B2B externally, including; at conferences with speaking and panel engagements, on webinars, and on podcasts.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed. This job may require upwards of 20% travel (10-12 weeks annually) to meet with clients, which may require overnight stays on occasion.
  • Drive indirect sales revenue by educating, enabling, and building B2B GTM motions with System Integrators, Digital Agencies, Venture Capitalist & Private Equity Groups, Digital Transformation Consultants, Technology Partners, and Enterprise Performance Marketing Agencies.
  • Work with Partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events and other marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Partner Marketing to build B2B positioning and content activities that drive merchant prospects.


Who You Are
  • Exceptional executive presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Successful Software or SaaS Sales Professional
  • The successful candidate requires in-depth knowledge of B2B eCommerce, this could be learned by selling B2B eCommerce solutions, or working “in house” within a manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to prioritize activities, remain focused on strategic objectives whilst meeting tactical objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business or similar field preferred.
  • Keen understanding of the eCommerce vendor competitive landscape
  • 6+ years of successful implementation and management of eCommerce sites within manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers.
  • 6+ years software, eCommerce, or SaaS sales experience with a focus on consultative solutions selling in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment
  • One of the following:
  • A Customer-first leader who fundamentally believes that servicing the customer well will have the desired revenue impact for the program.


Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range (or have the minimum apply to them), but rather, the exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.


Targeted salary range


$137,900—$175,000 USD
