Company Description

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, built to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our products help people make powerful connections, discover exciting opportunities, build necessary skills, and gain valuable insights every day. We’re also committed to providing transformational opportunities for our own employees by investing in their growth. We aspire to create a culture that’s built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun – where everyone can succeed.

Join us to transform the way the world works.

At LinkedIn, we trust each other to do our best work where it works best for us and our teams. This role offers both hybrid or remote work options, meaning you can work from home and commute to a LinkedIn office, depending on what’s best for you and when it is important for your team to be together, or this role can be performed remotely in most locations in the country of employment.

LinkedIn was built to help professionals achieve more in their careers, and everyday millions of people use our products to make connections, discover opportunities, and gain insights. Our global reach means we get to make a direct impact on the world’s workforce in ways no other company can. We’re much more than a digital resume - we transform lives through innovative products and technology. Additionally, we have a robust and expanding portfolio of innovative B2B products and features, which are fueling our next frontier of growth.

We are looking for a Sales Operations Associate, Product Owner, to help us build our next generation of internal tools. This is a highly visible, global role focused on scaling the design and execution of Anaplan and other internal tools for core sales processes at LinkedIn. You will serve as a key partner to LinkedIn Talent and Sales Solutions, Sales Ops, Sales Productivity, and cross-functional partners to deliver best in class solutions that standardize, automate, and up-level our sales planning and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

In this role you will own one or more products that our Go-To-Markets teams use in their operational and planning cadences. You will lead projects with key stakeholders and cross functional partners. You’ll need to think big, prioritize the system over sub-systems, and drive to execution. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with a diverse cross-functional team across multiple businesses, regions, and functions
  • Partner with, develop, and grow a team of experts
  • Play a key role as the voice of Sales Ops in the Anaplan Center of Excellence, defining the long-term vision and roadmap for our capabilities
  • Ensure on-time delivery of project by hitting milestones, escalating blockers, and making trade-off decisions to prioritize features and capabilities
  • Understand the current state and recommend innovative design solutions to complex processes, standardizing across teams when needed
  • Wear multiple hats, setting the strategic vision of an ongoing leadership priority, while also developing a deep understanding of sales / sales ops planning processes and driving day-to-day execution
  • Manage the entire product development of one of our internal operational or planning products, from discovery to deployment, using Anaplan and other internal tools
  • Gain management confidence by creating and delivering insights and recommendations in executive presentations
  • Build and continuously improve our operational and planning models using Anaplan, partnering with a team of solution architects, model builders, and process experts
  • Ensure that the product is meeting their needs and delivering value to the business
  • Be the voice of the customer or end-user of an internal product

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, other related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience using Excel and SQL
  • 2+ years' experience in an operations, product, consulting, or strategy role with an emphasis on building planning models, financial models, or transforming core sales processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading or transforming core sales processes (Headcount Modeling, Territory Planning, Quota setting, forecasting)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce
  • Exceptionally strong communication skills, backed by stories of effectively communicating and influencing senior management (verbal and written via PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated eagerness and ability to work in a high-growth, performance-focused environment with lots of ambiguity
  • Experience driving complex, x-functional projects with stakeholders across multiple internal organizations
  • Deep understanding of SaaS economics and metrics
  • Direct experience and exposure to Anaplan as a tool to drive sales or finance processes

Suggested Skills

  • Product management
  • Systems implementation
  • Project management
  • Sales operations
  • Cross-functional collaboration

The minimum pay for this role is $85,000 - $126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
