ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron and Jacksons Food Stores. The ExtraMile system is currently made up of more than 1,000 convenience stores in California, Pacific Northwest, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and the Southeast. The growth of the Company has resulted in opportunities to expand the ExtraMile brand within the current footprint, as well as to other states – resulting in exciting new employment opportunities.
Are you a self-starter who can perform at a high level with minimal direction while partnering with several stakeholders? If this sounds like you, check out ExtraMile’s open FranConnect Product Owner (FPO) position. FranConnect is a cloud-native SaaS platform ExtraMile uses to communicate with and house operational documents for ExtraMile branded store franchisees. In this role you are responsible for overall FranConnect operations and content including monitoring communication and store level info, maintaining library documents, tracking royalties’ payment status, new employee ID creation and training, and testing new enterprise software.
Office based position, with remote possibility for candidates outside of the Bay Area.
Some of what you’ll do as a FranConnect Product Owner:
· Create and manage User IDs for EMCS and COCO EEs.
· Troubleshoot to solve issues users may incur before submitting a ticket to the FranConnect Help Desk
· Review Alerts and Messages for content, formatting, and proper classification; provide feedback to creator if needed.
· Maintain The Hub, Library folders for relevancy and up to date content.
· Use the Decision Needed Document to facilitate change when requested after determining if the change is viable and meets a need vs a want.
· Prepare and perform training when needed (new EMCS EEs and when new additions are made to FC).
· Review Royalties each month to ensure all accounts show as Fully Paid.
· Meet monthly with FranConnect Customer Success Manager to discuss new & ongoing issues.
· Seek solution opportunities for teams to address business needs.
· Test new applications and communicate gaps/issues with FC.
· Document all processes within FC.
· Actively participate in meetings with Operations.
· Track and follow-up with FC on repetitive issues.
· Other duties as assigned.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
· Vocational or technical training in IT or related field.
· 2+ years’ experience in an IT role.
· 2+ years’ experience working with FranConnect or equivalent Franchise Management Software.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Experience in working with ExtraMile Programs and Operations a plus.
· A history of fostering a spirit of teamwork among multiple work groups.
· The ability to accept change and respond to setbacks positively and with minimal disruption.
· A history of communicating effectively and professionally with stakeholders.
· An ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions that favorably affect work performance and customer service.
· Demonstrated ability to work organized while prioritizing work properly.
Physical Environment: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
