To support this journey, Zimmer Biomet is looking for a ‘Downstream (Req to PO) Lead’. This individual will play a key role in the overall transformation of the program and will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to exceed expectations. This position will be responsible for the US, Canada, and Latin America processes. Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader. This role collaborates with all indirect requistioners, global business services, and IT. This position will report into the Global Sourcing System’s manager.

This is a Fully Remote/Virtual Office opportunity

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership on topics such as indirect procurement (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase orders, etc.), invoicing, payments, supplier enablement, and catalog implementations

• Develop catalog enablement strategy with category managers
• Support development of cutover strategy and planning activities
• Oversee and manage the change management, communication, and training strategies and approaches
• Work with cross functional teams to align on testing strategy
• Coordinate with supplier support resources to resolve catalog or other supplier issues
• Report testing status and defects to leadership
• Provide additional intensive support after the go live of systems to minimize risk and avoid business interruptions
• Manage supplier training and onboarding, including the enrollment with the supplier network
• Oversee testing execution and drive it to completion on time
• Organizing testing structure and facilitation (e.g., setting schedule)
• Support the data cleansing, extraction, migration and validation of master data (i.e., Suppliers, General Ledgers, User, etc.)

Expected Areas of Competence

-Learns from experience, self-motivated, and knows when to seek assistance from Sourcing

• Critical thinking and communication skills (written & verbal) § Ability to work with cross-functional people and teams
• Comfortable working in MS Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Effective analytical skills are required

Education/Experience Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree

• Experience with e-Sourcing/e-Procurement project management
• 10+ years consulting/and or industry experience
• Experience with e-Procurement technology packages such as Ariba

§ Experience with Procurement process transformation: including sourcing, project experience and/or implementing digital procurement technologies, process mapping, and business process review

• Experience with two or more of the following: Indirect procurement, supplier enablement, and catalog implementation

Travel Requirements

Up to 10%

Additional Information

Salary range is $97,000 - $128,000
