Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. Partner with the best
Working with government organizations, you'll play a role in the integration and support of critical websites and applications. Collaborating with teams, you'll implement products to optimize the experience and value customer's gain from their partnership.
As a Technical Project Manager Senior, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with the business to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality service and keep customers engaged
- Working closely with Akamai and customer teams to design the best solutions and implementation plans
- Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving our methodology and quality of integrations
- Partnering with customers to understand their technical and business needs, to ensure customer success
- Collaborating with Professional Service team members to implement and execute best practice solutions for our customers
- Facilitating the testing and live deployment of solutions, ensuring smooth and timely integrations for customers
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Show some experience of managing and delivering technical customer projects successfully
- Show understanding of network, web performance, and application/network security technologies/architectures as well as project management methodologies
- Be a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
- Demonstrate communication skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers across various levels
- Demonstrate experience in managing multiple priorities
- Have 10 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or its equivalent
- Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industry

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $113,430 - $170,043/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
