Responsibilities:

• Write and clearly communicate Change of Scope documents with clients
• Availability ranging from 7am to 5pm Central Time as needed to work with distributed teams.
• Contribute to team and company growth
• Track deliverables, understanding inputs, outputs, and dependencies
• Schedule and facilitate recurring meetings with clients and the internal team
• Strategic and thoughtful communication with clients
• Initialize and draft parts of the Statement of Work for potential projects
• Regularly communicate the project status with customers. This includes sharing project risks, milestones, budgets, and project issues.
• Collaborate with engineers on task and milestone planning
• Facilitate the planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure of agile software development projects.
• Manage project budgets and assist in invoice preparation

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience using task management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Experience managing project budgets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth understanding and experience in agile software development
• Self-motivated
• 3+ years of Technical experience in product development for embedded systems and software
• 5+ years of experience in project management and/or technical project leadership
• Familiar with regulated devices and documentation (i.e., medical device development)

Your goals for the first 60 days

Everyone hates showing up for their first day not sure what to do. Don’t worry; we have plenty for you to do and will guide you through the journey so you’re not overwhelmed or abandoned at your post. Within your first 60 days, we expect that:

• You will have an understanding of the product, software, and embedded systems involved in the 2 projects you will be managing
• You will understand our process and tact for project proposals (SOWs) and project extensions (COs)
• You will have an understanding of our Project Sponsorship (sometimes referred to as Account Management) responsibilities and client relationships
• You will be able to execute all project management responsibilities for the 2 projects you will be managing, with some support from the existing team as needed
• You will have an understanding of how our teams operate within our values and how we protect those values to deliver the best quality work to our clients
• You will be part of our weekly internal conversations on how we continue to foster great client relationships
• You will be able to review new SOWs and COs for our standard best practices
• You will have an understanding of our business, value proposition, and our customers
