Regional Brand Director – Travel Retail Americas

An exciting opportunity have arisen within Travel Retail AM for a Regional Brand Director to manage the cluster Tom Ford Beauty and Jo Malone London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic projection and achievement of sales and profit objectives for the brands (full P&L management) across the TR AM Region whilst upholding the philosophy, culture, image and exclusivity of the respective Brands. The Regional Brand Director will also be given the additional responsibility of driving all ELC brands with a group of key account retailers. This will include driving sales, managing a Corporate Account Manager and preparing and negotiating new acceleration plans and stores.
This includes the management, motivation and development of a high calibre management team (Sales, Marketing, Education) to ensure successful achievement of business objectives and the total smooth running of the Brands’ operations. It includes ensuring maximum visual impact through support from the Store Design and Visual Merchandising department and working closely with the Financial Business Manager to ensure maximum productivity and sales growth. The management, motivation and direction of the Sales Management team (Sales Managers and Sales and Education Executives) based throughout AM are key to the success of this role.
Ideal candidates will have a strong academic education (related degree/professional qualification), proven strategic business acumen within prestige retail, be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and negotiation skills, and be able to share area sales and relationship management successes. Travel Retail management expertise, languages and/or international business experiences are an added advantage.
The role is based in the Travel Retail AM office in Miami, US, with approximately 40% of the time spent working throughout the Region. The position reports to the VP/General Manager of Travel Retail AM and the person will also be a natural member of TR AM Leadership Team

• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in all aspects of brand management, e.g. marketing, sales, training, merchandizing, and public relations and finance
• Travel is expected to be 40% or more
• English. Spanish and Portuguese a plus
• Position requires 8+ years of marketing and sales experience, preferably in the luxury/cosmetics goods industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Bachelor’s degree required. Masters a Plus.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 149,500 to $257,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
