About Travel Retail


Travel Retail Americas oversees all Travel Retail operations across the Americas (over 900 points of sale) including airports, cruise ships, airlines, downtown duty-free stores, and border stores.


JOB PROFILE (Professional And Technical Competencies Required)


Cooperate proactively with all departments


Assist managers to draw up simple and effective procedures that comply with local laws, Group referential and good practices


Lead the self-assessment approach to comply with Group Internal Control Fundamentals (SMART toolbox)


Maintain an on-going relation with entity process owners to anticipate the management of risks related to significant business changes and projects


Prioritize and simplify messages to obtain managers’ support and teams’ commitment


Promote staff understanding of challenges and discernment by the distribution of tools, training and exchange of good practices


Adapt his/her communication to the large diversity of internal and external stakeholders (Mancom, managers, staff, auditors, Group/ Zone correspondents…)


Operate with rigor, method and pragmatism, taking into account the Entity's organization and processes


Define and manage the Entity's Internal Control roadmap and priorities in agreement with his/her Managing Director


Ensure managers’ commitment for improvement and progress of action plans


Demonstrate a positive critical thinking to improve the level of internal control


Review Entity actual processes and procedures to maximize their simplicity and efficiency


Analyse pro-actively incidents and frauds


Share initiatives with the Group and Zone Internal Control Departments


Take into account external environment’s developments


Be skilled for cross functions project management and change management


Coordinate the Internal Control improvement projects (TOP 5, separation of duties, prevention of fraud, security of payment methods etc.)


Animate the corruption prevention programme


Master Group tools and referential (charters, standards, processes, systems etc.)


Manage the Statutory Auditors' review of internal control and the progress of internal audit tasks


Leverage knowledge of Group standards and systems to provide insight on critical issues to be taken in consideration by Entity operational managers


JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY (Key Job Accountabilities)


With the support of the CFO (his/her manager), the entity ICM implement the Group Internal Control framework to reinforce the processes’ effectiveness and prevent Entity risks in order to contribute to sustainable development of the activity:


Define and manage the Entity's Internal Control roadmap and priorities in agreement with his/her Managing Director

QUALIFICATION


Bachelor’s Degree Required, Finance Or Accounting Preferred


Strong knowledge of L’Oreal group norms


Analytical ability, accuracy, and meticulousness


High interpersonal and communication skills


Strong change management and communication skillset


Strong analytical skills


Ability to work autonomously and be self-directed


Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment


Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, Compass,
