What you will do
- Evaluate strategies and action plans against allocated budget; manage budgets
- Contribute to the development and management of annual account plan by chain within associated region
- Utilize Category Management sales tools (syndicated data, portal data, shelf set software, etc.)
- Direct and manage space management priorities of poppi and the chain account.
- Maintain consistent communications with poppi field sales and distributors in designated regions/zones
- Provide total account management; sell-in corporate programs and brand promotions to established guidelines/depth/frequency.
- Facilitate weekly communication of distributor pricing to chain account(s) with RSM to ensure accountability with staff.

- Comfortable speaking in-front of large groups in person or virtually. Ability to create, facilitate training, and provide weekly chain activity with expectations to the regional/zone team members.

- Ability to earn the company and teammates' trust through maintaining confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive information/situations and executing duties/responsibilities consistently.
- Always acting with integrity through a “what’s right and best” mindset.
- A self-starter & leader who is hands-on and efficient has a boot-strapped mindset and can get things done with a small team.
- Focused on driving business results, especially within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
Your Background
- BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field preferred
- Understanding of DSD distributor network/processes and communication flow within
- Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Effective communications/presentation, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills
- Full knowledge of retail initiatives (particularly category management and information/fact-based selling)
- High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendations
- Computer software proficiency (word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, internet)
- Field and retail sales experience in the beverage industry or other consumer product industries
Physical Requirements
- The ability to understand and follow directions and verbally communicate with others in a typical office environment.
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require a 50-pound lifting ability.
- Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.
- Travel will vary month to month, but you will need the ability to travel up to 50%
- The ability to sit, stand, walk, and type for long periods of time.
- The ability to utilize standard office equipment, such as phones, computers, and copy machines.
