The Recruitment Support Specialist focuses on provider/physician recruitment. In this role, you will coordinate and assist with attracting and referring candidates for open positions through recruiting websites, employee referrals, on-site and off-site recruiting, and other sourcing methods. Screen resumes/applications and coordinate interviews. Facilitate pre-employment assessments and background screenings as well as provide feedback to candidates not selected for positions. Create attractive and effective job advertisements and postings plus launch offer letters and coordinate new hire onboarding.
Essential Functions:
- Builds a rapport and personal connection with sourced and screened candidates.
- Achieve recruitment (sourcing/phone screens) productivity goals and metrics.
- Use creativity to create, post and distribute effective job advertisements and physician marketing campaigns for open opportunities.
- Provide clear and consistent communication, feedback, and reports.
- Travel overnight to conduct onsite Affiliate visits and/or Career Fairs.
- Collaborate with Vice President of Physician Recruitment regarding search activity and Affiliate communication.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and material for Career Fairs, Affiliate visits and provider/physician candidate on-site interviews/visits.
- Update the internal provider/physician database with recruitment-related activity.
- Proactively source viable provider/physician candidates through referrals, site searches, phone calls, emails, texts and other sourcing methods.
- Partner consultatively with Affiliates to conduct searches and fill provider/physician staffing needs.
- Conduct thorough phone screens through calls, Teams meetings or video chats, with attention to detail and prompt follow-up.

- Understanding of provider/physician recruitment and human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to engage in continuous learning and apply knowledge, skills, and new abilities.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet goals and deadlines.
- Robust talent management skills with an exceptional eye on talent and a high degree of experience in employee development and growth programs and initiatives.
- Knowledge of HRIS/Recruitment databases and candidate management systems.
- Ability to adapt to constantly changing circumstances while maintaining professional perspective.
- Creative writing skills to produce effective job postings and advertisements.
- Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone).
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of social media and other advertising platforms.
- Outstanding Customer Service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all people.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 5+ years relevant experience and/or Bachelor's degree in related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years recruitment experience; preferably healthcare and/or provider/physician recruitment experience.
