Position Summary:This position assists the clinical support manager with monthly Medicare billing audits, and processing billing from clinics, x-ray, labs and physicians. This position is responsible for weekly interdisciplinary group (IDG) document preparation, distribution and post IDG follow-up. The clinical administrative support person will process admission paperwork; including DocuSign, medication reviews, submission of DHS files and other similar office processes.
JobResponsibilities:
- Reviews EHR for monthly Medicare billing
- Submission of client records to DHS as needed
- Prepares documents for all IDG meetings and distributes post-IDG documents appropriately
- Processes all admission paperwork
- Answers phones and provides back-up to intake team
- Submits medication reviews to PBM
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
- Ability to demonstrative positive and respectful communication/interaction skills.
- Demonstrates compassion, authenticity and respect
- Ability to type 65 words per minute
- Ability to respect confidentiality
- High School Diploma, some post-secondary education preferred
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, power point and EMR’s
- Demonstrates a desire to work with those at end of life, hospice knowledge.
