The City Operations Project Coordinator will support the successful execution of projects designed to elevate city operations and achieve market specific goals.

Your projects will be focused on business operations efforts involving administrative support for the market, process creation and execution, management of employee spaces, culture, and evolving our product/business.


AT SONDER YOU WILL:


City Operations


  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure group and corporate client bookings are executed flawlessly, by serving as the point of contact for Sonder Sales team questions about specific building information (as needed in your market)
  • Take direction from senior city managers to execute tasks and small projects in support of market specific goals (e.g., CSAT, eNPS, Sales, Revenue, etc.)
  • Execute portions of established projects focused on creating a flawless guest experience including rolling out new company initiatives and other programs that will drive impact locally
  • Have a keen interest in assisting in the coordination of larger projects alongside the Area General Manager, Operations Managers, and Project Manager.


City Team Support


  • Work with our HR and Market Leadership teams to provide an excellent onboarding experience for all new employees on the city team
  • Support Market Leadership with communication of important information to the City Team
  • Ensure our employee spaces at our various properties are up to our standards and are well stocked
  • Partner with our Project Manager to ensure the flawless execution of larger projects focused on business operations
  • Be the first point of contact for tasks related to management of the physical office space including liaising with building management of an office or coworking space
  • Be an eager owner of ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the city team including management of office supplies, uniforms, and incoming mail/bills
  • Lead specific projects related to process creation or enhancement
  • Manage market team culture initiatives, including the organizing and coordination of culture events, employee engagement efforts, and team celebrations


WHAT WE LOOK FOR:


  • A detail oriented perfectionist with exceptional organizational skills
  • Experience in an Office management/ EA role
  • Business-fluent written and spoken English
  • A consummate team player who cultivates a positive culture
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to identify and convey critical information to stakeholders quickly and precisely
  • Past experience with early/mid-stage startups, a plus
  • A self-starter with the ability to plan independently and complete projects with minimal supervision, while also providing progress road maps to manager and team
  • A professional presence when interacting with senior management, external clients, and vendors
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training, education or experience, to include professional hospitality experience and project management experience and/or event coordination
  • Work fluently in Excel/GoogleSheets and the full Office/Google suite of applications
  • A confident and approachable personality
  • A strong relationship builder, able to work with Senior team members
  • Ability to work to deadlines, manage a busy workload and prioritize tasks
  • Reliable transportation to and from work and properties around the city


Salary:


$58,500—$75,915 USD
