Job Description
Primary Function
Working as a part of an in-house creative production team, the successful candidate will provide hands-on support during pre-production, on-set and in the business office. This position requires a strong customer service orientation and will complete daily scheduling, crewing, production support and administrative business functions of a production studio.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of service areas as assigned, documenting SOPs or WPDs, participate in equipment inventory, future planning and special projects
  • Provide support and work closely with department personnel in all aspects of logistical, operational and production coordination as assigned
  • Work in the most proactive, creative, and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to our clients
  • Travel for production as needed (
  • Assist with the maintenance and organization of digital media assets and documentation for equipment and software
  • Serve as key contact for crewing, resource & equipment requests, travel, and scheduling; Confirm and assign most appropriate people and equipment resources to each project for domestic and other locations
  • Greet clients and visitors, assist with marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, clients, and other vendors to provide these services and ensure impeccable customer service
  • Conduct resource and facility scheduling using proprietary software
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Conduct online research
  • Manage incoming invoices, equipment rentals, credit card receipts, expenses and
  • Other production documents for reconciliation
  • Assist with studio and field shoots
Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Farmer’s Wife, Workfront, ScheduAll, or other project management or video production enterprise systems a plus
  • Excellent customer service and resource management skills; proactive and responsive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace and apply current and new technologies
  • Must demonstrate firm understanding of the entire video production process
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to think quickly in a live program environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Must be able to create and format spreadsheets, apply functions & formulas, merge & sort data
  • Ability to maintain elevated level of professionalism in a corporate environment
  • Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including team personnel, clients, and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships
  • A positive and initiative-taking attitude and a willingness to jump in and help
  • Basic math and computation skills; extreme attention to detail required
Education & Experience
  • 1+ year office administration, finance, accounting experience or communications role
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related field required
  • 1+ year video production experience (agency or corporate video preferred, digital media, or broadcast)
