Job Background/Context:

The Citi Global Wealth Business was created to combine our Private Bank business comprising of clients with a net worth of $25mm and join this with our Citi Gold and Citi Private Client business (net worth of ~$200k v. $1mm). This consisted of merging businesses across the Global Consumer Bank as well as the Institutional Clients Group. The goal of the creation of this business is to provide clients access to more products and digitize our offering to our clients. The Wealth Operations organization are looking to harmonize their processes to newly formed policies and create strategies and synergies across our people, product and our platform.

The candidate will be working on the Operations Change Management team, which governs and manages an ~$30mm Book of Work and drives strategy across the Wealth program for operations. Closely liaising with the Operational leads to drive synergies and implement process re-engineering changes, technology platform changes, and working on new and emerging technologies. In this role, on top of exposure to technology book of work and process reengineering, you will also have an opportunity to learn about Citi Wealth’s key businesses such as Banking, Lending, Trust and Investments and understand importance of KYC, Client Onboarding and Client Reporting.

As part of Change Management team, you will have a unique exposure to worlds of Business, Operations, Technology, PMO and Business Management through meaningful projects that have real impact on our business and clients Our seasoned professionals will provide you with a training and mentorship required to succeed in this role. The Operations Change Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the team. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing the Citi Global Wealth Management Change Management Strategy with the guidance of team lead and ensure all regional efforts are in line with global standards, facilitating global consistency. In addition, the candidate will focus on the end-to-end product Operational processes and collaborate with the Ops Change Management team members and business SMEs to ensure the core pillars of the program are fully adopted.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor and work in close partnership with business heads and senior leadership to analyze opportunities, operate transformational strategies to achieve the business mandate, operate change by partnering with business leadership with clear accountability, provide clarity in complex problems, facilitate decision-making, and guide high value investments.
• Understand, analyze and drive transformational decisions based on Data
• Partner with technology teams to deliver best in class solutions and enhancements to Operations teams
• Partner with the Ops product teams to update Operations process flows and lead process reengineering campaigns
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Develop relationships with support functions and senior leadership.

• Experience working in cross-cultural global teams.

Responsibilities:

• L2 support role for Flex environments : troubleshooting, problem management, coordination of technology and application streams to deliver short and long term solutions.
• Flexcube Projects support & Execution/automation of testing.
• In cooperation with App developers & systems administrators implementation & support of robust, scalable and high availability solutions for Flexcube platform (Oracle, RHEL, AIX, WebLogic, WebSphere, Autosys) and integration with various components (like password repositories, secured transmission layer, data warehouses, CI/CD tools, Cloud solutions).
• Support & development of automations to improve operational and technical efficiency (e.g. thru Shell scripts, Perl, Autosys, Java, API).

Qualifications:

• Fluent English (daily work with English speakers).
• University degree in IT or similar.
• Good scripting skills (bash, sql, pl/sql , other scripting knowledge is welcome).
• Basic knowledge of security management in Oracle, RedHat and IBM components.
• Experience in automation of manual activities. Innovation oriented.
• Min 1 year of experience with Unix/Linux OS & Oracle databases.
• Proactive approach.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills (daily collaboration with 10+ teams).
