We have an exciting opportunity to join the Enabling Solutions Annuities Suitability team as a Suitability Analyst. Under the direction of the Manger, the Analyst is responsible for examining proposed transactions, ensuring internal guidelines as well as outside regulatory requirements are met. Incumbents deal with both fixed and variable investment products in the Non-Qualified and Qualified Markets. The candidate is expected to develop strong relationships and influence others in a positive, outcomes-driven manner.
Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Frequently partner with external investment advisor contacts and partnerships with strategic relationship managers and risk groups.
• Implement compliance oversight procedures, with limited supervision in exception situations. Possesses knowledge of the principles concepts practices of the compliance discipline and apply them to Prudential products.
• Vet proposed transactions, considering internal guidelines as well as outside regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
• Identifies problems, informing and assisting management in the resolution of matter.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a solid understanding of conflict and problem resolution required
• Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills
• Strong organization skills with the ability to successfully multitask, manage change and receive detailed performance feedback
• Intrigued by technology/ process and proactively identify opportunities that enhance and add value to those within each process
• An Individual Contributor that demonstrates strong commitment to delivering a superior customer experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Able to work effectively with colleagues across multiple locations / virtually
• Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships
• Annuities experience for 5+ years preferred.

Education/Licensing

• Series 6 FINRA Registration required
• Series 26 FINRA Registration required or required to obtain within 180 days of hire

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $79,900.00 to $118,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
