Senior Accountant

Iselin NJ Area - Easy access (REMOTE - WFH 2 days per week)

Salary: to $100K plus bonus and exceptional benefits including generous retirement contributions and PTO

Responsibilities Include

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to provide accounting, operational, and financial analysis support for trusts, LLCs and foundations.

• Special projects including reporting for the board of directors
• Financial statement preparation including general ledger journal entries
• Fixed assets accounting
• Process expenses, cash transfers and investment funding
• Cash flow forecasting

Systems Skills

Proficient in Microsoft office suite. Strong knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks.

Requirements Include

• Flexibility to tackle novel and varied projects.
• Proven ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment.
• CPA preferred, prior public accounting experience highly desired.
• Shows tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 5 years of overall accounting experience or experience in a similar role maintaining accounts for high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong problem-solving, financial analysis, and research abilities.
