Job Description
The Asana marketing team is focused on driving growth and building a brand that customers love. We focus not only on acquiring users, but also on creating content and campaigns that nurture existing teams and drive them to upgrade. Our team is growing rapidly, and includes team members focused on product marketing, content creation, partnerships, ads, and lifecycle marketing.


We recently launched one of Asana’s most exciting announcements in our company’s history, Asana Intelligence —a human-centric approach for leveraging AI to help organizations safely and securely make better decisions and maximize impact.


We are looking for an experienced product marketer to join the team and help our enterprise customers see Asana as the intelligent navigation system for organizations in this next era of work. You will work closely with company leadership on bringing Asana’s unique AI vision to life to accelerate our mission, inclusive of working with our product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop positioning, messaging, and integrated go-to-market plans for Asana Intelligence.


This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule . Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.


What You’ll Achieve


  • Track and measure performance metrics to continuously improve our marketing efforts, while uncovering new growth opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Asana’s AI capabilities, the dynamic market trends, competitive landscape, and changing customer needs to help accelerate our growth
  • Partner with company leadership to develop an AI strategy and long-term business vision that only Asana Intelligence can deliver
  • Craft compelling enterprise AI messaging and positioning that excites and educates customers, and informs our unique product strategy
  • Build differentiated marketing assets, like webinars, case studies, and sales enablement, that showcases Asana’s enterprise AI capabilities to customers and prospects
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to build impactful go-to-market plans


About You


  • Product messaging and sales enablement experience, across multiple content types
  • Experience with LLM, ML, and / or AI technologies
  • Passion for learning new products / industries and diving into the nitty gritty technical details
  • Experience building or driving a program from the ground up in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams with a vision
  • Ability to craft results-driven campaigns tied to team and company objectives
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Product Marketing within B2B SaaS industry
  • History of strong collaboration with product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams
  • Exceptional written, visual, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.


For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $207,000 - $279,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.


In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
