Position Summary:


The People Manager is accountable to provide a full suite of high-level support expertise for a dynamic business. This role is a collaboration of the operational HR Delivery Partner and provides the critical support needs of the business to ensure the proper people resources are available to drive and support profitable business operations and growth.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Aligns the people strategies with the business and oversees execution of comprehensive talent strategies, initiatives, action plans and processes to improve critical organizational performance.

  • Ensures organizational success in complex business situations such as mergers, acquisitions,
  • Identifies and addresses succession issues through development and succession planning programs, develops ready now and potential pipeline candidates; Leads process to identify talent for key roles and/or strategic hires.
  • Acts as the voice and senior level advocate for the employees to the leadership team at all times.
  • Partners and supports leaders in achieving safety objectives
  • Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally.

Qualifications:

  • Seasoned HR professional with 8+ years HR experience and at least 2 years of people leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and executing strategic HR plans that align with business goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. SPHR certification a strong asset.
  • Results oriented, services focused human resource professional with a verifiable track record for adding value, organization and superior performance and results to overall operations.
