Strong attention to detail.
Previous customer service experience in retail, restaurant, or medical environments (optical experience not required).
Responsibilities
Warmly greet patients at BJ's Optical, understanding their vision needs through open-ended questions, and create a memorable experience.
Promote eye exam availability to BJ's members and their families.
Provide information on specific promotions to patients.
Foster strong partnerships with optical team members and optometrists.
Assist in scheduling eye exam appointments and handle patient information with HIPAA compliance.
Conduct eye health tests, take retinal images, and assist with other ancillary testing.
Facilitate live remote video conferencing with doctors to communicate their recommendations to opticians.
Work collaboratively with optical team members to meet or exceed patient expectations.
Match eyewear solutions to patient needs and guide them through product selection.
Maintain optical area cleanliness and appealing displays.
