Job Title:Marketing Associate - Digital Media
Reports to:Marketing Director
Department:Marketing
General Position Summary
The Marketing Associate is responsible for managing all phases of the brand’s social media and website workflow. They are ambitious, result-oriented, have a pulse on the social landscape, can think outside the box, and define how the Outside Van brand appears on all platforms. This role will continuously evolve with the Marketing Department as strategies may change. To ensure that desired results are obtained, they will communicate effectively with the Marketing Director regarding expectations to meet standards and deadlines of projects.
Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities
·Responsible for Social Media scheduling, project concepting, calendar management, copywriting, and publishing in coordination with the Marketing Director.
·Build and develop an engaged audience through a social presence that stands out among the immense industry competition.
·Collaborate with the marketing team to create and strategically manage a social media calendar.
·Manage website updates, improvements, and content.
·Engage with followers and other brands on all social channels, including answering customer questions in comments and messages.
·Provide bi-weekly analysis and updates to the Marketing & Creative Director.
·Develop and monitor brand relationships and partnerships.
·Use social media marketing tools such as Tailwinds, Later, and other beneficial software.
·Professional organization of assets on the Marketing server.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
·Result-oriented, self-starter, who can concept, manage, and execute projects from start to finish. - Strong copywriting, copy editing, SEO, & blog writing skills.
·Understanding all aspects of social media including channels, platforms, content, analytics, tools, and creative.
·Hands-on experience building and managing communities on a variety of social media platforms.
·Tuned in to cultural trends and current events in the van life, travel, and extreme sports categories.
·Ability to think quickly, multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure.
·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field.
·Flexible and willing to travel for events, photoshoots, and work the occasional weekend.
·Management experience is a plus.
·Ability to work in both a team environment and independently

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- Marketing: At least two years (Preferred)
