This position allows for an optional hybrid work arrangement which includes a combination of both in-office and remote work arrangements. (Maximum of two days remote, three days in-office). To be eligible for the program, employees must complete a minimum of 6 months of continuous, regular employment, be in good standing, and submit a formal hybrid work application prior to being eligible for hybrid work, pending supervisor approval. Job Purpose:
The UKFCU Marketing team is in search of a creative and focused individual skilled in content creation. This position provides service to existing and prospective members through email marketing, social media development, and website management. In addition, researches and analyzes data to expand and deliver digital media through appropriate channels.


JOB SPECIFIC RESULTS

  • SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING: Create engaging written and visual content for social media marketing. Develop and maintain calendar for campaigns across various social medias to build brand awareness and drive opportunity for the credit union. Including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. Monitor progress using analytic tools and adjust campaigns accordingly.
  • EMAIL MARKETING: Create engaging written and visual content for email marketing. Develop a timely delivery cadence through collaborative planning with team. Evaluate results and adjust campaigns accordingly.

2(a). Engage with and resolve customer issues through social media in a positive and professional manner. Follows Credit Union’s policies and procedures regarding complaints to assure tracking and resolution of all comments and complaints via online channels.

3. WEBSITE: Responsible for management and updates to user facing content on UKFCU existing website as needed. Review website analytics and SEO techniques to optimize website traffic. Use tools like Site Improve to maintain website accuracies.

4. Assist with development of timely marketing promotions, advertising materials and digital media as needed for team members.

5. Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities. Provide feedback and research results to management and relay implementation strategies.

6. Resolves problems by studying issues; reviewing documents; analyzing alternative solutions; making recommendations to management and solving the problem.

7. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products including but not limited to: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or others, preferred but not required.

8. Experience with Sprout Social, Drupal, WordPress, Audacity, or similar platforms.


GENERAL MEMBER CONTACT STAFF RESULTS

  • When directly serving members, cross-sells credit union services by answering inquiries, actively informing members of new services and product promotions, ascertaining members’ needs, directing members to other staff as appropriate.
  • Maintains professionalism and member confidence by presenting a professional image and engaging in positive communications concerning UKFCU to members, employees, vendors and all contacts.
  • Maintains account records by updating member information as necessary.


GENERAL STAFF RESULTS

  • Maintains member and employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential and sharing on a business-related as-needed basis only.
  • Complies with UKFCU policies and procedures by enforcing and adhering to internal UKFCU procedures and board-established policies.
  • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing corporate and individual goals and other related results as needed.
  • Complies with federal, state and local regulations and legal requirements by enforcing and adhering to requirements.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by maintaining an awareness of competitors’ rates and terms, industry trends and technology; attending staff meetings; identifying opportunities to attend seminars that enhance skills and maintain knowledge of new products that could assist in improving operational effectiveness; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.
  • Engages in problem resolution by clarifying the member’s and/or employee’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution; and keeping the supervisor informed of problems and solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Two-year college degree, business, or trade school or equivalent.
  • Three to Five years of similar or related experience, including but not limited to, email marketing, social media content creation, and website maintenance.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals with American currency, and to apply these concepts to practical solutions.
  • General PC and computer keyboarding experience.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent with American currency, and to apply these concepts to practical solutions.
  • Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate with others one-on-one and in groups, fielding questions and responding to complaints.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel to campuses and other locations to facilitate marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions while dealing with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
