What you’ll be working on
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, producing and optimizing end-to-end email and social media marketing campaigns. This includes managing our email database and leveraging content management platforms and web technologies to drive engagement. The person who thrives in this role understands customer engagement and sweats subject lines to get their emails opened.
What we're looking for
To be successful you’ll need proven experience working with email marketing technologies such as Hubspot, plus other web technologies such as WordPress and Drupal, and social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Strong communication skills are essential in this role, and you’ll need to be able to write and edit crisp, engaging content.

The preferred location for this role is Portland, OR.
Responsibilities
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest ways to improve engagement.
- Plan social media strategies and campaigns, including content to drive engagement
- Identify target audiences and help grow our database.
- Manage the email marketing calendar to avoid list fatigue and minimize unsubscribes.
- Serve as the primary owner for Audinate social media channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
- Design and implement direct and nurture email marketing campaigns.
- Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and testing.
- Proofread emails for clarity, spelling and grammar.
- Report on leads generated from email marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all emails adhere to GDPR and industry standards.
The successful candidate will have...
- Experience with paid social media campaigns and optimizing spend to maximize response rates.
- Attention for details big and small with an appreciation for how much the small things matter.
- Strong project management skills and an ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google analytics.
- Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
- Exceptional written communication and copywriting skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. The ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing.
- The ability to project manage the email marketing calendar and juggle competing campaign priorities across the team.
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology.
- Proven track record of driving engagement with B2B social media audiences, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
- Hands on experience with HTML and content management systems (Hubspot preferred).
Physical requirements
- Performing the duties of this job regularly involves sitting, walking, standing, hearing/listening, repetitive hand movement, and vision requirements – close vision, adjust focus, color code. Lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
