The Role

Digital Marketing Strategist for Client PC, across consumer and commercial segments, is responsible for managing overall digital strategy for web, email & marketing automation, and other digital channels. They will transform the business requirements, opportunities and objectives into a digital strategy and digital customer journeys with objectives of attracting, engaging, and converting customers across segments, regions and difference personas.

The Person

We are looking for someone interested in strategic planning, insights, execution & working with business and digital subject matter experts to drive decisions using an end-user-centric view of all things digital. Key Responsibilities Include

  • Other duties that arise from evolving digital business needs.
  • Manage the digital experience for Client PC (consumer and commercial) product launches, strategic and high importance/impact areas of AMD.com and other digital channels and related tasks working closely with internal teams, project manager(s)and stake holders.
  • Influence process and governance for day-to-day operations.
  • SEO and on-page optimization knowledge.
  • Self-learning and subject matter expertise
  • Monitor site satisfaction, accuracy & overall quality to ensure high quality of work to meet and or exceed user expectations aligned to user journeys.
  • Work with internal stakeholders in determining content strategy approach of marketing, support, and services from a digital perspective.
  • A/B testing methodologies, processes for benchmarking, testing in providing improved user experience to end users.
  • Overall digital ownership of strategic projects from ideation to planning, execution and post launch activities and tasks with the key element being developing comprehensive digital strategy that drives value and return on investment for digital initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Capability of managing multiple large-scale projects, goal driven with actionable results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to work with internal external stakeholders and partners to establishing and building relationships.
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced, deadline driven environment where priorities are often changing and need to be rebalanced.
  • Understanding of varying needs and changing landscape of industry trends with digital (web, email, SEO, SEM, eCommerce, rich media) strategy.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and analysis skills combined with the ability to synthesize and effectively communicate findings to all levels throughout the organization through clear and well-structured presentations. 
  • Understanding of Digital user experience, web analytics and optimization.
  • Experience in organic search engine optimization (site/page level; on site and off site) & onsite search engine optimization
  • Proven experience as a Digital Strategist or similar role in the technology industry.
  • Education: BA/BS in a related field with strong experience in Digital strategy and or related roles with a keen eye and understanding of content strategy, digital user experience and user expectations.
  • Experience in web content management, web project management, web program management or similar web roles will be an asset.

Key competencies for this role:

  • Agency experience or in-house experience in digital marketing working with leading B2B or B2C technology companies, would be an asset.
  • Cross-functional, customer centric focus, strategic agility, drives for results & ability to exercise independent judgment.

Performance Objectives 

  • Leverage analytics reports & web user satisfaction data to measure the effectiveness and plan for Global digital launches and optimization.
  • Assist management with developing strategy, best practices, business processes for digital projects and execution.
  • Effectively participate with cross-functional teams to successful carry out & maintain digital launches and other digital projects.
