About The Role


As an Associate Media Manager, you will support internal marketing initiatives using Roku’s owned & operated media (e.g. display banners on Roku devices) to grow viewership of The Roku Channel. You will support our media managers across all business workstreams including VOD, Platform, and International efforts. As the O&O channel owner, you will support the media managers to act as an internal consultant to Brand and Originals Marketing teams to drive new user acquisition as well as engagement of active & lapsed users.


You should have a growth/performance marketing background and hands-on-keyboard experience executing campaigns. You will work closely with our Ad Product Management teams, providing feedback to enhance existing solutions, and partner with Ad Operations, Design, Content/Marketing and Analytics to ensure that campaigns are launched and tracked successfully. This role will gow into a media manager, with opportunity to own a full workstream end to end. This role reports into our Manager of Owned & Operated Media.


What You'll Be Doing


  • Ensure all campaigns are being captured correctly in our internal reporting tools
  • Have a keen understanding of Roku's ad products and campaign execution capabilities
  • Craft thoughtful recommendations of new tactics that are backed by data and can elevate performance against our KPIs
  • Provide support to our media managers on audience builds and strategy, as well as helping to monitor campaign delivery and performance and advising on optimizations to maximize outcomes
  • Drive campaign execution efforts for The Roku Channel while partnering with cross functional teams including Ad Ops, Product, Marketing, Creative and Analytics teams


We're excited if you have


  • Experience making data-driven marketing decisions to improve and optimize campaigns
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
  • Experience developing content engagement campaigns at a media, streaming or subscription service
  • Familiar with commercial digital ad serving tools for video and display such as Google Ad Manager
  • Flexibility; the desire to pivot in real-time with ability to have a creative approach to problem solving - finding the yes rather than saying no
  • 2-3 years of experience in Performance/Growth Marketing or Paid Media
  • Team-player attitude, with strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate and thrive under tight timelines and ability to pivot with ease
