Manager, Production Operations Jobs

Overview / Objective
The Manager, Production Operations is responsible for overseeing event and/or partner production logistics as well as managing various operating budgets. This position is a key contributor on our NFL Media operations team and main liaison with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in studio facility operations management and a strong understanding asset inventory and management.
Responsibilities

• Work closely with Engineering to troubleshooting technical and operational issues, as they arise.
• Assist in planning for all Remote events, including the scheduling, organizing, and shipping of all production related assets, to/from Remote events.
• Act as main liaison with NFL LA facility landlord, as it relates to all production related facility needs, including use of the loading dock.
• Liaise with other NFL Departments including but not limited to Engineering, Legal, Facilities, Culture and Business Operations.
• Oversee various operating budgets.
• Oversee Studio Asset Inventory and movements in Service Now, in conjunction with Physical Asset Manager.
• Work with various internal stakeholders in the scheduling and assignment of NFL LA spaces, related to productions and/or events.
• Responsible for managing logistics and technical needs, for all event and/or partner productions.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in production and/or event planning
• Working knowledge of MediaPulse (or other show budget creation and tools)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior operations, production and/or technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in communications or related field
