The Associate Production Manager will work directly with vendors, closely with cross-functional partners and ensure all areas of the Production process are maintained.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor Production progress with third party vendors through to delivery to Lulus Distribution Centers.
• Work closely with Lulus cross-functional partners throughout the product lifecycle, including Technical Design, Buying, Quality Assurance/ Vendor Compliance.
• Manage workflow process from Style Out to capture all order information (inclusive of costing for NEW categories) up until PO creation.
• Align with cross-functional deliverable dates to ensure Production responsibilities are executed in line with the overall schedule.
• Other tactical responsibilities as required.
• Responsible for timely submission of samples to the Technical Design team to ensure FIT schedule is maintained.
• Manage junior Production team members, ensuring they complete key tasks and processes in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with Lulus buying teams to determine suitable courses of action when in-house delivery dates cannot be met.
• Own communication and coordination between Lulus and third-party vendors.
• Own and organize suitable training programs for new production team members.
• Manage internal documents and systems to ensure all information is updated and easily accessible for cross-functional departments.
• Monitor in house delivery dates to ensure vendors are tracking to deliver on the dates communicated by Lulus logistics department.

What You’ll Need

• Experience with apparel/ garment costing and vendor negotiation
• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong knowledge of fabric, garment construction, measurements, and fitting
• Experience with sourcing, logistics and Production terminology
• Proven track record of being a proactive problem solver, self-starter and will take full responsibility for your role
• Comfortable with change
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Work with a sense of urgency and experience working on tight timelines
• Exemplifies Lulus’ all-in, all-voices, always evolving attitude
• 4-5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experienced multi-tasker and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and comfortable in retail systems (Netsuite/ PLM). Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Experience managing junior team members (training/ guidance/ oversight)
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized with excellent time management

• Experience working with medium/ large scale retailer is a plus
