The Boeing Defense and Security Systems (BDS) is currently seeking a Production Operations Specialist located in El Segundo, CA. This position will report to the Senior Operations Management within Electronic/Unit Production Factories. You will be a part of a dynamic team that handles the daily support of manufacturing and factory operations.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides training for hands-on Electronics Assembly
• Coordinates support with adjacent functions
• Directs personnel on daily assignments
• Prepares tooling and equipment for upcoming production
• Reports on execution status weekly
• Coordinates movement of materials to support production

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

• 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience in manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
• Experience working in teams/work groups
• Experience working in a lab environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches and written and verbal instructions, in English
• Wire Harness experience (splicing, lugging, mate/demate)
• J-STD experience
• Electronics experience (Printed circuit boards, soldering, assembly/process)
• Basic understanding of spacecraft hardware safety

Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through education (e.g. Associates) and or typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $66,300- 89,700/ annually
