We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales / Pre-Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced world of the apparel industry. As a Sales/Pre-Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the coordination and execution of our sales orders, pre-production and customer service. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, organizational skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the sales process from order placement to final matrix, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, art department, and production team to gather and clarify order details, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor and track art and sales progress, identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks or delays.
- Communicate regularly with the sales and design team providing updates on order status, quote approval, and any changes or issues that may arise.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and customers, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding any changes or updates to decks and quotes.
- Support the sales team by addressing inquiries related to order status, product availability, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to decks and quotes.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the shipped goods and address any post-delivery issues or concerns.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, striving to exceed customer expectations and build long-lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with the sales and design teams to gather feedback from customers and identify opportunities for improvement in product offerings and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the CRM system.
- Continuously improve customer service processes and practices by identifying areas for
optimization and implementing appropriate solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in production coordination or sales support within the apparel industry is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and project management systems such as NetSuite.
- Knowledge of production processes and supply chain management in the apparel industry is a plus.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- A self-motivated and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
