Your Mission
Activision is looking for a Director of Product Management (Call of Duty) focused on post-launch acquisition and campaign management for Call of Duty’s premium and free-to-play live services across console and PC titles, fostering continued growth of one of the largest franchises in entertainment. The successful candidate must be able to work and lead cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization and will be a key driver of live services across multiple titles. This individual will play an integral role in helping deliver on day-to-day business performance and drive new strategic initiatives, while being the evangelist for the brand and voice of the player.
Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
  • Cross-Functional Publishing Management – build strong relationships with our cross functional publishing teams as a key contact for daily product and business needs, with a focus around broadening Call of Duty’s appeal through key partnerships and licensing opportunities. The right candidate will have the potential to work closely on all live service deliverables across multiple disciplines within the franchise
  • World Class Go-To Market Campaign Management – developing strategic seasonal briefings that will inform how we execute global marketing plans for our seasonal content launches, partnering on go-to market planning and working effectively with cross functional teams to execute the plans and deliver our key business objectives
  • Player Champion – embody the “player” view internally, driving a fan first viewpoint across the org and post-launch product plans; ensure that the player’s voice helps drive the direction of the franchise.
  • Oversee Acquisition and Growth Marketing Initiatives for Franchise – in partnership with the Marketing organization, support the acquisition and growth marketing pods with strategic management, tracking daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal efforts based on LTV and ROI analyses; including shepherding A/B testing and promotional activity that will drive new player growth for the franchise based on a deep understanding of the player landscape and game features, delivering positive KPIs across multiple titles
  • New Business Model Evaluation – as emerging opportunities arise to innovate on how we deliver our games and content to players, you will be responsible for building business cases, partnering with our finance and strategic business insights teams to develop ROI analyses, recommendations and go-forward plans
  • Be The Product Expert – Understand the player journey and create best-in-class messaging that lives both in-game and out, ensuring key selling features and product info is represented accurately in market with a strategic lens towards maximizing comprehension, conversion, and player satisfaction.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Post-Mortems – lead industry intelligence efforts and ensure best practices in driving acquisition, both internally and externally, are captured and shared across our publishing teams and leadership to ensure best practices are being implemented in our marketing campaigns
  • Performance Management – support senior management by tracking and reporting key performance indicators and providing recommendations focused on player acquisition and growth for our console & PC titles
