For our client, a multinational media company, we are recuiting a full-time HR Manager for their office in Downtown Miami:
Overview and Responsibilities:

Mission: The HR Manager is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function and recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Main Activities:
- Partner closely with in-house legal counsel as appropriate to efficiently manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, conduct investigations, and address issues with employees.
- Lead and leverage HR processes including – Talent Acquisitions, Benefits, Performance.
- Implement and monitor adherence to HR policies, procedures, and practices; Ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Management, Compensation/Reward Manager, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement & Communication.
- Uncover, assess, and propose opportunities for HR processes and improvements.
- Build dashboards to measure HR programs’ progress and success over time.
- Provide broad recruiting support to leaders with securing hiring approvals, crafting job descriptions, developing compensation ranges. Partner closely with Talent Acquisition and provide resources, leadership and counsel regarding diversity and inclusion recruiting efforts.
- Define HR local strategy, being a mediator between HR centralized mission, local business needs, local legislation, and employee’s needs.
- Manage the HC and HR budget: prepare the budget, manage the business’ requests for resources to meet the budget in accordance with the company priorities.
- Assist in managing the Project-Based population (recruiting, deal memos, timesheets, benefits, weekly payroll issues, etc.).
- Leverage the broader HR infrastructure/community to solve problems for employees.
- Engage with managers and seek to understand the people implications to business challenges, initiatives and goals and identify solutions that contribute to success.
- Research, create & execute new and ongoing initiatives for the Miami office in all areas of HR including events and engagement / wellbeing activities.
- Provide advice, counsel, and coaching to all different level employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Perform other ad-hoc incidental and related duties and lead special projects as required and assignment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of professional-level HR experience
- Speak, read & write Spanish & English
Additional Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, absolute integrity, discretion, and sensitivity to confidential company and employee information
- Excellent interpersonal skills and employee solution oriented
- Ability to work independently, strategize and influence at all organizational levels
- Experience with data and report analysis
- Detail-oriented, strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Strong technical skills required (Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
