We are looking for an Analytics Manager to join the Customer Success Operations - BI & Systems team to build and scale our operational analytics, data foundations, and reporting capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to help develop and deploy the end-to-end analytics strategy for Customer Success and to lead the development of data foundations and reporting solutions that are (a) purpose-built for our stakeholders, (b) future-proofed for a rapidly changing customer success landscape, (c) scalable across all lines of business, and (d) designed to enable scaled optimization and to surface actionable insights to the right people at the right time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team and work on large cross-functional programs requiring close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A successful candidate will have strong leadership, a passion for learning, and energy to foster close partnerships with business leaders, Customer Success, Data Science, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to identify opportunities, design, and deliver results.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be adept at deriving and distilling actionable insights from large amounts of data. The candidate will own the central reporting infrastructure, core data foundations and data engineering related process optimization initiatives across the LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) and LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS) businesses. Using strong communication skills, the Analytics Manager will effectively collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope, and have the ability to perform professionally in a challenging and extremely fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing data foundations team that manages the data infrastructure for customer success operations
• Build cross-functional relationships and partner effectively with other teams to drive project success
• Make business recommendations, conveying findings at multiple levels including managers and peers through visual displays of quantitative information
• Write SQL/Python queries to extract necessary data, analyze the results to generate actionable insights and present the findings either in Tableau, Excel or PowerPoint.
• Execute global data analytics initiatives including solution design, roadmap development, prioritization, and successful implementation
• Own end-to-end development of scalable data assets including data foundations, dashboards and automated reports that augment our stakeholders’ ability to make effective decisions quickly

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Experience influencing strategy through data-centric presentations.
• Experience telling stories with data and visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
• Background in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python, Scala).
• A degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, economics, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL
• 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to recruit for and manage technical teams.
• Strong management skills for planning and executing complex multi-team projects that crosses multiple domains
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in data foundations design and architecture, including performance, security and scalability.
• Familiarity with collaboration and endpoint technologies that are used in the industry from providers such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Apple, Slack and Google.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Demonstrated record of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic and drive for success
• Strong written and verbal communicator who is very organized, able to think entrepreneurially and works well in a cross-collaboration environment.
• Ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audiences, including executives.
• Experience with Python
• Experience developing high quality real-time applications to support critical business requirements with an eye for a seamless user experience that is delivered through efficient and scalable integrations.

The pay range for this role is $123,000 to $193,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
