Operations Manager Details

• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure accurate order fulfillment, minimize errors, and prevent product damage.
• Business process continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Hires and trains new employees, organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff and conducts performance evaluations
• Direct Hire position
• Improve warehouse layout, workflow, and equipment to minimize operational bottlenecks and facilitate scalability.
• Partner with Purchasing Manager to evaluate inventory handling improvements and reduce overstock and dead stock.
• $ 85,000.00 to $ 90,000.00 / annually
• Oversee daily operations in logistics, inventory control, receiving, shipping, customer service, and manage point-of-sale processes for counter sales staff company-wide.
• First Shift
• Coordinate with teams, such as logistics, procurement, and counter sales staff to streamline operations and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
• The General & Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved and responsible for improving efficiency and increasing profits while managing the company’s overall operations.

Operations Manager Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in supply chain processes, including inbound receiving, storage, retrieval (full pallets, case pick, layer pick), shipping, transportation, etc.
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in a distribution center environment.
• Excellent organizational and management skills to include the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and assign responsibilities accordingly.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in business management, supply chain management, business management, logistics or related (trading, distribution or related for general goods)
• Constant strategic thinking in a business context; with a clean understanding of the organization’s strengths and weaknesses.
