Job Description

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join the growing team at a law firm client based in Tampa, Florida. This secretary assist in multiple practice areas. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing, collegial firm!

Responsibilities:

· Arranging for the delivery of legal paperwork

· Typing correspondence and legal paperwork

· Transcribing court proceedings and other recorded meetings

· Scheduling, coordinating and confirming court dates, appointments, and meetings

· Conducting research in legal matters

· Assist with answering phones and greeting clients

· Maintain calendars and schedules for a number of attorneys

· Understand the basics of a number of court documents, such as summons and subpoenas make travel arrangements

· Arrange for the filing of court documents


Requirements:

· Attention to detail

· 5+ years of legal experience

· Excellent time management skills and strong organizational skills
