Job dimensions
As part of a shared service organization, the Learning Tools and Systems Specialist will play a crucial role in the administration and coordination of Country-wide comprehensive learning programs. The role will be responsible for managing all the learning management systems used for providing, assigning, and maintaining training records of all our US employees. The role also will be responsible for the planning and implementation of all policy, compliance, and Language Learning US Training programs (5 branches, approximately 3500 employees in scope). The incumbent will be the expert in training systems (Frontline, Lizzy, HR4U, etc.), responsible for the maintenance of corporate office training records including all outside training. Plans, organizes and conducts/coordinates training activities as directed.
Activities
- Conduct annual training needs analysis to fulfill US-Specific Compliance expectations including OSHA and EEOC
- Assist the Learning Team in developing and delivering all aspects of country-wide training initiatives
- Manage all aspects of the language learning program for US Affiliate including identifying of training need, determining training plan, sourcing vendor, maintaining records, and measuring progress
- Manage all US Compliance and Policy-Related Training
- Liaise with Learning Solutions and Branch Training departments to ensure alignment with Company learning expectations
- Coordinate with internal customers and external suppliers and/or instruct classes to implement the annual training plan
- Survey applicable laws, regulations, and Company procedures to identify training needs based on projected changes, federal, state, and local regulations, corporate policies/directives, and other factors
- Oversee the calendar and scheduling of The Learning, Innovation & Collaboration Space
- Collaborate with US Learning & Development team to ensure database is up-to-date, and records are maintained
- Develop training KPIs and run frequent reports to communicate progress with leadership
- Serve as the USA expert and coordinator of all company Learning Management Systems including Lizzy, Frontline, and other métier-specific learning tools
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Develop and curate learning content (e.g., computer-based training)
- Provide expertise on the interpretation and application of US employment law training requirements
Qualifications / Experience required
- A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred and 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in training and/or system management.
- Good computer and written communication skills with multi-media development skills a must.
- Excellent organization skills
- PHR, CPLP, and/or other Learning accreditations preferable.
