Job description

Job Title: LMS Technology Specialist
Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote

Description: The LMS Technology Specialist is responsible for assisting with various duties related to course setup, course maintenance, and course development for online delivery. This position works closely with the LMS administrator, faculty and staff.

Duties:
  • Maintain and meet strict deadlines as required by term start dates.
  • Coordinate large-scale course rollouts.
  • Assist the team with continuous improvement of training processes, systems, tools and resources.
  • Communicate and collaborate frequently and effectively with various project collaborators, team members, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure that objectives are met.
  • Set up online courses.
  • Other duties as assigned not listed above directed by the supervisor.
  • Diagnose problems and troubleshoot issues in the LMS.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Experience in working with Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, or other LMS.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn technology quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
