Job Description
Overview:
Administers and maintains the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) to meet all regulatory compliance needs, ensure data accuracy and integrity and to support the learning needs of the organization
Responsibilities:
Leads the development and administration of the learning management system (LMS) to ensure orientation, education, and
competency records are complete and accurate.
  • Develops and maintains the associated templates and learning pathways within the system to ensure orientation, education,

  • Manages all aspects of the LMS system which includes, but is not limited to, importing course content, course approvals,

  • Provides ongoing technical support to the learning management system.
  • Works with educators to ensure proper setup and system support for complex learning activities within the LMS.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to be an active participant in initiatives that have fundamental impact on the organization.
  • Provides training and technical support to users, supervisors, and others who interact with the learning management system.
  • Generates, analyzes, and distributes data reports.
  • Audits compliance and certification requirements.
  • Maintains all LMS instructor course materials and provides support related to document control system requirements.
  • Accurately tracks new, deleted, and revised items in the learning management system including assessments.
  • Performs all duties in an ethical manner consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Ability to work assigned hours, and occasionally outside assigned working hours as needed.
  • Processes course updates and monitors user access for monthly usage reporting.
Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Windows based PC system, a range of software packages, including
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Abode Acrobat Professional is required;
  • Knowledge of online learning and web‐based applications;
  • Knowledge and skill in current office procedures and practices, including operating general office equipment (computer, fax

  • Knowledge of and proficiency in research, analysis and reporting methods;

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/A
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years’ experience with online learning management systems and strong working knowledge of elearning
development tools
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years’ experience with online learning management systems, learning development or instructional
design, within the healthcare industry. Successful record of building effective learning experiences in the form of self‐paced eLearning
curriculums, assessments, infographics and other materials.
