Learning & Development Senior Specialist - Remote In Texas

Job Summary

Design and deliver technology-based, business-focused, and innovative learning and development programs and experiences to support adoption of a learning culture at James Avery.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Advise team members in the organization regarding best practices in instructional design and adult learning theory to create inclusive learning experiences for all Associates.
• Deliver technology-based learning including eLearning, video, and virtual instructor led training through a learning management system (Cornerstone).
• Serve as project manager and advisor for instructional design process for enterprise-wide content.
• Function as the primary system administrator for the learning management system.
• Stay current with trends, best practices, and technology for both the industry and learning field.
• Collaborate with Learning Administrators throughout the business to facilitate content creation utilizing the learning management system governance processes.
• Provide expertise on digital learning, and act as a thought leader and partner to stakeholders within the business to help them leverage and optimize learning technology to meet their training needs.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

• Experience with content authoring tools.
• Experience with program management (analysis, design, development, evaluation) of training programs.
• 3 years’ experience working in a professional or internal learning & development consulting capacity or similar work.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced skills in instructional design and learning management systems or other learning technologies.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Relevant experience developing education strategies, plans and content to support audiences with varied needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• LinkedIn Learning system experience.
• Articulate interactive learning system experience.
• Cornerstone learning management system experience.
