The Boeing Company is seeking a Learning and Development (L&D) Ecosystem Senior Manager to join our amazing Learning and Development organization and team. This leader will drive enterprise-wide coordination and business execution consistency across the different processes and platforms delivering learning and leadership development offerings. The unifying framework for actions will be based on the following principles:

This role reports to the Chief Learning Officer of The Boeing Company and is an integral part of the L&D leadership team. The selected candidate will help to enable working in an agile environment through teams and sprints, iterations while breaking down complex work into manageable deliverables, maintaining momentum and keeping the team focused on tangible and metrics driven business, and user outcomes. This leader drives true integration between our systems and offerings to ensure an outstanding employee and leader learning experience. This role will unify different organizations across L&D, the Human Resources (HR) function and multiple vendors to ensure strong usability of our offerings.
This role can be based in any of the following locations: Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA; North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX; Seal Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; Huntsville, AL; Chicago, IL or Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, business unit leaders, and subject matter experts, to understand learning needs and align development programs with business objectives
- Drive the creation and implementation of a cohesive and holistic learning and development ecosystem that caters to the diverse needs of our business
- Leverage data analytics and insights to make informed decisions regarding investment, prioritization and continuous improvement of learning and development initiatives
- Lead and manage a team of L&D professionals responsible for researching, designing, developing, delivering and maintaining processes, tools and training to facilitate employee development
- Explore and utilize technology platforms to enhance learning experiences and ensure seamless delivery of training programs
- Build strong relationships and partnerships to foster a culture of open collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Oversee the coordination and alignment of various learning and development processes and platforms across the organization, ensuring consistency and efficiency
- Promote and drive user-centricity in the design and delivery of learning experiences, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of our employees and leaders
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Collaborate with business leaders to execute the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives
- Provide mentorship, guidance and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management
- 5+ years of experience leading teams through process and change management
- 5+ years of experience designing, delivering, and improving enterprise Leadership Development programs
- Willing and capable to travel up to 10%
- 5+ years of experience facilitating and presenting to senior and executive leaders
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience solving complex problems and driving significant value into the organization
- 5+ years of experience in a role utilizing business acumen and understanding
- Experience with user centric design
- 5+ years of experience managing complex project schedules and managing large scale programs and projects
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying organizational strategies
